A delightfully DARK COMIC CRIME THRILLER that twists and turns.
Screen Daily

It’s New Year’s Eve in Derry, Northern Ireland, and as the clock ticks relentlessly towards midnight, three interlocking stories twist and turn in this comic crime thriller.

Greta (Nichola Burley, Streetdance) is the daughter of local mobster, Frank Feeney (Lalor Roddy, Hunger). Embittered and alone, Greta plans to throw herself off the Derry Peace Bridge. There she meets a bruised and battered Pearce (Martin McCann, Shadow Dance, Killing Bono) who has had his own troubled New Year’s Eve, thanks to Frank’s violent thugs.

What follows is a fast paced tale of revenge, star-crossed love and robbery. Stories and lives collide in a tightly written script laced with wicked humour, based on the popular stage play by Lisa McGee.

Jump is an energetic ride populated by characters from contemporary Ireland, living with today’s challenges and far removed from the country’s troubled past. It was a huge hit at the Toronto International Film Festival and was awarded the Bridging the Borders Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
